We are not white knights we are in business to make money on RE  not a charity or social workers.. so we do want to keep this in perspective you did what you needed to do so you could make a profit bottom line.

My contractor is saying it's not something they can remove even after they re-painted over the top.

There are several ways to add value to RE investors. 

I have the same issue, I have been CPA for a while but now(thanks to RE investing) I sold my practice and pursuing construction/RE full time. 

I can't re-iterate enough how much better data I have actually spending time analyzing my market and understanding my competition.
