@John FiastroGo with the hardwoods it will reduce your ongoing costs.We do a light buff and then put several poly coats to seal the floors against liquids (beer, urine, juice etc.)Another great product is vinyl allure flooring.

What about any examples of kindly, gently defending against "landlord mission creep?"

Bring lots of garbage bags (preferably contractor grade) as most loose stuff / junk probably hasn't been packed and can be "gently" placed in garbage bags and hauled outside.

Come back in a couple hours when it’s 99% dry with any type of cheap broom you’ve got, broom it very gently (about half as much as you think you should).

If you buff out the hardwood floor it will look brand new!

I mean this in a gentle way, but prop mgmt might not be for you.

Nothing could be farther from the truth.i say put them in their place gently and carry a big stick lol.we all face the difficulties of being taken seriously.
