If you are worried about counterfeits, get a counterfeit detection pen and use it.

They can get up in the $3500 range if you add items or "packages" like the expansion tank(could be needed), recirc pump(could be wanted), and "leak detection devices"(scam).

But, again, I assure you that we spend a lot of time doing as much detective work as possible to try to ensure the integrity of these forums.Protecting this community and its members is our #1 goal.

Basically they sent out a water leak detection company and they determine the source.

The company that detected the leak wants to charge a minimum of $1500 just to find out where it is, and then over $2000 to repair it.  

sometimes we pay a private detective $150-400 to find someone.

My view is that ideally PetScreening.com would do a thorough job of detecting and rejecting bogus ESA certificates, but I was not under the impression that was the case. 

I went to my REIA and spoke to Lawyers, Agents, CPA's, Brokers, Lenders, Police Officers, City officials, Detectives, etc.  

Be aware moderators discuss companies that intentionally try to plant feedback and if we detect fake accounts, they can be shut down.

The hard part is getting a good number for people and this is where you use a combination of your detective skills and pay sites to find people.
