I thought I wanted to go into commercial real estate for a few years after college in order to gain some broad experience and skills within the industry, as well as gaining capital for future investments which is my ultimate goal.

I'd also suggest looking at some broad metrics regarding profitability (cap rate and cash on cash return) which will help you compare individual properties relative to other options.  

Of course,  I'm now defining that more broadly than I used to.

The ultimate goals I have in mind are essentially financial freedom (to keep it fairly broad), but I would eventually like to build a legacy through real estate that survives me.I look forward to working with you all throughout this journey, and hope that I can be as much help to you as you have been to me!
