As far as land is concerned, you can sell it for someone else to build a house on, donate it Habitat for Humanity, a church, or another agency(huge tax write off), eventually build a house on it myself(100k in construction could yield a $150k profit if the house sells for $250k...and you only paid a few hundred for the land plus another few hundred for the legal stuff lol), you can put a billboard on the land and rent it out, parking lot depending on the location, the options are truly limitless!

BTW, I like what you when investors wants to chat and pick your brain :-) I do similar think asking them to donate to my charity instead of going out for coffee or lunch.

@Rachel Hertel if there is no access to the lot except through neighbors it is worth pretty much nothing to anyone except the person whose lot surrounds it unless there is an easement, they are your only buyer unless you want to donate it to the county.

If it’s a total dud and neither of the above are viable, then donate it to a church and write off the value against my income.Option 1 above is the best but the difficult part is that virtually no raw land has sold in this neighborhood in the last 5 years so I have no idea what someone may be willing to pay for a lot like this.
