AirBNB specifically recommends language pertaining to allergies and service animals - you can state in your listing that you don't accept any animals (don't say "pets") due to allergies and it being a health risk to you or a family member.Again, definitely look into the laws yourself, but between this being your primary residence, your only STR, and you having allergies, I don't believe you could be required to accommodate service animals.

I'm also in contact with the builder.I looked at this new construction of which they are small box's built as cheap as humanly possible on lots that are basically given away.5 years from now when they are used and abused rentals they will revert to the mean price point.. be worth 35 to 50k.. so who ever is buying these will lose 50% or so of the value.. no way they will maintain those values in those neighborhoods.

The Lift The Ban group has paraded folks who've lost their rentals due to health issues, old folks who couldn't afford their rent in "their" neighborhood anymore, and a whole crowd of people in similar situations and things that have nothing to do with the cost of rent across the market.
