A realtor that you are wanting needs to be new and fresh enough to the have energy and willpower to work their a#$ off, but also have some experience and education to bring to the party. 

Due to the passive nature DSTs are not meant for every investor and it is important to seek education to see if a DST is best suitable for you.

What is needed is the local bar associations to hold novice buyer seminars to educate novice buyers so that they can dispense with buyer’s brokers.

I have been educating myself on real estate and markets for the past year but I have no connections to a potential team. 

Once I made a segment my focus, my growth and deal flow as a broker really took off.If your goal is to be an investor, and you have a career outside of real estate, then I would focus on educating yourself on the different asset classes.
