But when I was an agent, learning some basic Python and VBA (Excel) really helped me save time in the process of collecting and analyzing real estate data.I've been working with technology for the last 25 years; sometimes you don't need sexy, you just need a tool that works.It's a sin that, we technologist, fall for often: searching for sexy instead of "this old thing just works" :) Agreed, though in my experience, a lot of real estate professionals are far from the most technical people, so having clean and intuitive software UI is very key... but then again the MLS exists and that to my knowledge still doesn't have a back button... lol

If that's the case, while I agree you should submit the claim to your title insurer and not the agent who issued the policy, I suspect the claim may denied as a matter occurring after the date of policy and therefore excluded from coverage.I handled a similar title claim and found courts had found that a tax lien as a result of a reassessment of the property became effective when assessed and was not retroactive.

You can look into the BiggerPockets-affiliated software for landlords here in the Tools section.Another option could be a local Realtor who either works a ton of rentals or does a lot of business in North Austin.The software route may still require involvement on your end i.e. setup, communication, document review, etc.
