So here’s my situation: my fiancé and I are doing owner financing on a horse farm where I run a very successful sales and training business.

I choose the live-in flip strategy because it's LESS risk and at that time I was stuck in the rat race and paying $800 in rent to do it! 

As a side note, we had an airbnb in Aiken SC and did very well there...it is a unique community that has alot of horse and polo people traveling from all over and it has a vibrant Artists community.

Build your financial foundation earlier and you could escape the rat race through REI before your thirties.

@Jon Schwartz, I think you have completely missed the point that @Christopher Smith is making.This wouldn't be a Trojan horse if the supporters just came out and said what the real long term goal was.

I have found that tenants with horses or cows move less than people renting a single family or multi-family home.I did really well with that years ago on a 10 acre parcel that I held until sewer became available and sold it to a developer.
