If it was expensive, I would have wanted to make sure it wasn't damaged or lost because if it was damaged or lost them the deposit is basically lost replacing it with nothing left for other damage later.

Where I live in Incline Village new builds are 1500/sqft and that doesn't include the engineering and architect costs.
