Most very successful STRs seem to have direct booking options, they are opening their properties to the YouTube Airbnb influencers to get more publicity, they are creating regular content through their own social media channels, etc.  

This approach can be particularly beneficial if you want to reinvest the income or use it to offset other taxable income.Cons: Properties with lower purchase prices may be in less desirable neighborhoods, which could mean slower appreciation and potentially higher maintenance costs.Appreciation Properties:Pros: Investing in more expensive properties in better neighborhoods can lead to significant appreciation over time.

Worse case it could be converted to regular apartments.

Just get a regular hot tub, I promise it'll much cheaper than a lawsuit.

When I do my own units, should I charge a really low price to my own property to make it self sufficient as it would then cover its own expenses, or should I charge the regular full price for cleaning and pay myself the entire cost for cleaning to boost my income?
