Your best bet is to contact the County you plan to build in (Miami-Dade County or City of Miami) and see if a stamped set of plans is required for the development of land and building Deparment permits.

Zac, while it is true that some trusts are complicated, file tax returns, get EIN's and need attorneys to set them up for you...what I am talking about is a basic Grantor Revocable Trust (Better known as a Land Trust or an "Illinois Type Land Trust").

They come in doe-eyed and that's a good thing, but you can't keep them doe-eyed or they will buy swamp land in the Everglades.

Really just looking to take my L and do better on the next.

And can you do it without having the land under contract and/or already acquired?
