I'm new to being a padsplit host and trying to connect to other hosts to learn from their experience and get feedback.

Several that I know meet regularly are those hosted by Bobby Sharma (usually meets on the peninsula if not virtually), Neal Bawa (mostly virtual these days), Lori Greymont (SJREI in San Jose) and Bay Area Wealth Builders (they meet in the north bay).

You can go to the Airbnb website and 'host' properties and areas that will help you a lot with pricing and assumptions.

I think you could do the same with a co-host.

We are new hosts and just went “live” April 1.  

We host a monthly investor meetup if you'd ever like to attend and network with other like minded bigger pockets members. 

I can safely say I can fulfill my host obligation and put my STR on the market right away without any improvement and sell.

We are 4 months into it, so it’s still relatively new for us, but we both enjoy being hosts and the income has been solid.

I don’t think that means there’s nothing out there for people like me.I’ve done some research on Arbitrage, house hacking, co-hosting.. etc.

I guess that podcast host is either lying or desperate for deals.
