I could see that the exhaust has leaks, but you only get monoxide as a result of combustion, and it must first light before you get anything to burn ...I posted something in this other thread that might give more info on this:http://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/52/topics/58638-gas-appliances-in-rental-

Now that 4 years have passed....I have paid over $140,000 in hmortgage payemtns and reduced principal less than $10,000; landscaped for hundreds and hundreds of hours planting/nurturing 96 bushes, hedges and trees; given my 8 year old granddaughter her "own room" as an anchor that she still needs through her parents' turbulent divorce, yet live like a pauper, and work and worry to illness and exhaustion, I just wonder what in the heck I could do to just have a half way decent quality of life, with a home, and some normalcy.

One other thing that you might encounter is insufficient air for proper combustion when many gas burning appliances are located together; this can lead to backdrafting where air for combustion is pulled through the chimney (running the risk of exhaust gases getting back into the house's fresh air).

Just remember everyone, that a bathroom needs to be vented, so if you're removing a window with a sliding pane and replace it with glass block or something else that doesn't open, you'll need to add an exhaust fan.

hmmm, a month ago i'd have said no....HOWEVER, oct 1 changed a lot of things....there are currently i believe 13 states that as of oct 1 require people that receive any type of incentive for referrals to lenders to be licensed. florida is one of them and this law has been a game changer in my field. licensing is an exhaustive and expensive process.
