I was just curious how outside people view California and the diversity that the current investors here have been implementing.

They are diverse with property location and the type properties they manage.

There are a few reasons I am interested in the SoCal market, it is a large growing market with diverse inventories, it is familiar to me after growing up in the area, and my family and life are all near by. 

Hello My BP peeps, when I heard and started using BiggerPockets I did not have any knowledge of the real estate business on how its diverse in different ways to make money..By reading and exploring this site, BiggerPockets has given me insight on lnformation that if I look some where else, my process would of took longer to gain.

The diversity in comments above lets me know that a) matching is difficult, and a range of pricing. 

It offers strong cash flow and COC ROI but it also has a diverse and modern economy.

Is there job diversity and are there more or less of these jobs coming to the area? 

@Kyle Lacasse, based on recent analysis of these areas, I passed on two wholesale deals in Franklin; the economy does not appear to be diverse or vibrant enough to bank on (at least from my discussions with a few other investors). 

I've always been a believer in diversity or variety.
