DSCR loans have become extremely popular amongst foreign national investors because they do not require income verification to qualify or U.S. credit history (many use local credit history from their home country to verify creditworthiness), allowing for a more efficient underwriting process.  2.

But not having someone there with the properties interests in mind to verify the work being done is quality would personally make me uneasy.I would definitely look at a local PM for the long term and then after the first year and hopefully the first round of renewals you can make a more educated decision as to whether or not to keep them around.No matter what you decide to do, congratulations on the investment! 

Syndications are extremely risky investments where one has no control over their investment, no ability to liquidate their investment, no control, no title, and no way of verifying the investment promoter's claims. 

I think I'm in the "trust but verify" camp (at least until Skynet becomes sentient and takes over)It's a good tool, but one that shouldn't be blindly followed.
