@Jimmy ChaoA lot of my problems happen, down in the low C-class property class that I rent in, because of straightforward mental illness.

I've read the books and done the research to know what markets work for my goals, but mentally I find myself nit picking every market trying to find the "perfect" fit which leaves me to never pulling the trigger. any advice on how to overcome this so I can finally get my real estate dreams underway??

He obviously paid down the loan so he’ll make money but he said “mentality it’s tough to take less then I paid” as long as you don’t just but to buy and get a good quality deal I say go for it!!

If someone tells you they are struggling, have a list of resources handy where they can reach out including mental health hotlines.

He went on to say that tenant B was suffering from mental health issues exacerbated by the COVID shutdowns. 

Sometimes it’s better to go slow and make sure you have the “mental space and capacity” to take on the next phase.

Fear based decisions were the only decisions allowed and that mentality still sticks with me today whether I like it or not.Through college I started looking into flipping houses, buying storage facilities, etc... but never pursued it due to the lack of certainty and the risk involved. 

Thanks @Jaron WallingThat was my mentality as well, I spoke someone at the Assessor's office earlier today and they explained that taxes on residential properties were actually capped at 2%+a small percentage added as a addendum last year.

I've been taking in all the information and building my mental toolbox.
