We have several student rentals and, it would seem, all students have cell phones and are game to both use (an app to open doors) and to carry (a proximity RFID tag) new technology.We also have buildings which cater to working class and {older than student} tenants where we find traditional keys still work best.The advantage of electronic locks is no physical keys to manage and the ability to manage access remotely - given access to service/maintenance personnel is greatly simplified.
