I've seen the visualization on a youtube video but can't remember which one lol. 

Most very successful STRs seem to have direct booking options, they are opening their properties to the YouTube Airbnb influencers to get more publicity, they are creating regular content through their own social media channels, etc.  

As you read these books, watch the BiggerPockets podcasts.

I have learned to completely disregard articles like this and just constantly be checking my own statistics for my property and watch for trends.
