I invested in a syndication in April of 2022 that was projected to give me an 18 percent return for 4 years after which I would be refinanced out on a waterfall and left with 5 percent of the deal post the waterfall as long as the deal is owned by the GP.

Normally, you need an LLC with 2 years of tax returns on its business to buy in an LLC or transfer to, unless you are refinancing into a DSCR loan or something like that.

I would recommend just taking out another bridge loan if you need more time to sell, or refinancing into a long term DSCR loan if you do not qualify for conventional loans

The other strategy I've considered, but have no idea if it's feasible, is getting some sort of hard money loan for a live in flip just to get the place and then refinancing it with an owner occupant loan once it's fixed up and I move in.
