you need to know the rules before you play the game!!

I don't like them, for a variety of reasons.When I was in corporate America, I was pretty much forced to play the 401K game.  

When downturn hits you in an infinite game this number you have defined and the College education you would have acquired will play the role of torch and show your the path forward.Hope this helps.

On expensive projects such as rehabbing a unit you can play the role of a GC and do some work yourself and hire others to do the rest, here you can potentially save $1000's.

This is an ongoing game here in Chicago, and those of us with portfolios know we have to play the game! 

I had a good hand and was paying to see the flop, if the cards were bad I'd fold and play the next hand.  

I'd play the appreciation game by holding onto your condo since you already own it, then balance with some cash flowing properties in another region. 

Play the game under control with a growth mindset that allows you to learn as you go and make mistakes.
