Check the footage right after you do so to ensure you get enough resolution (ie can you make out the face of someone standing there or a licence plate number). 

Personally I view credit alot like my drivers licence you can catch me speeding but I'm still going to contest it in court!

But I took the advice and decided to forge ahead with getting the licence.  

Becaue you don't apply for the licence until you pass your test and you results are good for a year.
