My REI behaviour looks like this:Some might call it erratic, seemingly without purpose and a bit scattered.  

There are plenty of ghost towns scattered all through the west.

I purchased a multi-family where the previous owner had allowed tenants to put satellite dishes up (I think there were 6 total scattered all over the place).

If there is no cutoff to how long you can stay and if you are hoping for marriage and children in the fiture and the basement apartment was big enough, or conversly if you don't want to expand your family, just so long as you know you have at least 6 month rent free, you are probably good.  

Right now you're scattered. 

Online leads are going to be scattered and it's difficult to control where the leads come from with this channel.
