Computer algorithms are better for generally data on a market.

They do a good job with default settings.Lately they've even updated their "base price" algorithm to respond to lower occupancy some markets are experiencing. 

Like @John Underwood said, never let the algorithm set your pricing....just see what your competition is charging and slide right in the middle.

With all due respect, it is not true....you can absolutely 'just do your job', i.e. follow all applicable rules, laws, guidelines, etc....and still run afoul of good ole AirBnB's wonderful rules, algorithms, customer service......been there, done that... 

The fact is You can visually spot things in your farm area that will never be picked up by a algorithm , a list source program or an advertisement .

Most of the larger late night TV "We Buy Houses" commercial companies have all moved into this space as well, some have terrible Apps because they aren't really tech savvy and didn't want to spend the money, others really don't understand how important the algorithms are in the ingenuity of their platforms.
