I’m a fan of using equity just sitting there doing anything for me.

It was purchased as a rental and been sitting for 5 years.

Considering we dont do a great job of monthly sitting down and cleaning up our books.

There were lots of issues with the house as follows:1) The house was built without a permit2) The house was for the most part sitting on the floor.

I recommend this option, as just sitting on the property with no income is a drain on you both financially and mentally.

When they sit down and look at how each state works and take everything into consideration one state will be more advantageous for THEIR strategy than the others.

It's not going to retire you in 5 year but give it 10 - 15 and you're likely sitting pretty.That said, it's not as easy to pull off as it sounds and not as smooth sailing as folks will make it out to be.
