If yours is the only STR within 20 miles and there aren't any cities or larger towns within a 20-30 minute drive, you could easily run into trouble even finding a reliable cleaning person, let alone a full-service STR management company.I would also definitely take the time to find some comps on Airbnb in the same area as yours, with as close to the same bed/bath count as yours, and with the same finishes and amenities as you are planning to put in yours.

I have seen it for whatever reason and it's not an absolute, but my A class tenants when they move the houses ARE broom clean and they get their deposit back. my C and D needs a turnover which usually cost 1 to 5k depending on how rough they were on the houses.

I had a case when needed to clean the coffeemaker and did it during a couple hours, or organized the TV replacement with a new unit in less than 4 hours.And Bremerton is a bit of an hour drive but totally doable for me for managing, and will definitely have a local cleaning team and handyman.

For example my nightly minimum is $200 but its listed for $340 a night on airbnb before the cleaning and booking fees are added in other words, i the property, owner get $150 per night from airbnb, vacasa takes $190 per night from airbnb and then charges fees.
