Fannie and Freddie will use your education towards the 2 years of employment rule.Now if you went to school to be a nurse and you're now a carpenter that would be near impossible to use your education towards the 2 years.If your degree flows into your new career then tell your loan officer you can provide your degree to help fill in the 2 years.
