I worked for granite fabricators for years and yes there are small traces of radon but we felt it was a selling point to turn the industry to quartz which is an engineered stone that doesn’t require to be sealed.

We want to move my mother in law into a house (a new pre-fabricated house on a permanent foundation) on about 3/4 of an acre of our land.  

What you will run into though, is wholesalers and people in general, who lie about or fabricate their real estate experience.
