He can have Power of Attorney, BUT unless her Doctor has declared her mentally incompetent it will not stand up in court.

I did it with 100% private money funded by one of my best friends dad, who is a very successful doctor and owns several hotels and apartment buildings.

On the third trip the doctor pretty much said there's nothing wrong other than being 92 and we can't fix that.

As for sex offenders, I have a friend who in college got drunk and was arrested for public urination and was put on the sex offenders list --  he is currently a doctor. 

She said she was not sure how my lawyer could help me if he was not a member; that she was the best resource I would need, that the program includes 600,000 high-profile people from 50+ countries including doctors, lawyers, business owners, etc...

I may be seen as particularly unsympathetic here, but I did want to point out that you are not his family or his psychiatrist or doctor or responsible for his welfare, but you are actually responsible for your own family's well-being, especially as it sounds like you live next door and this is likely an important investment for you, not a charity.
