.- Electrical guy messed up my trusses while trying to upgrade my service panel (The house barley has attic space),My question, Does anyone know if having my property listed under an LLC  limit me from pulling my owner mechanical permit and doing that job myself?  

Another piece of advice that stood out to me in your post is your recommendation to work with commercial real estate transactions.

However, the events that always stood out to me  was how terrible some of the tenants could act and treat the property.

We found some decent houses, but none that stood out (I am not a handy person, so I wanted something turnkey).

Maybe looking back a couple years from now people will say those who stood on the sidelines right now were the smart ones.

Investing out of state in Detroit, CLE, Cincy, KC, etc without being from there, having a family member there, or having a very good contact (like a friend who stood-up in your wedding type contact) is a recipe for disaster.

If it is a truss there is a 90% certainty it isnt load bearing.

So not as a user, but as a real estate professional needing their assistance with a property I was appraising - they stood out as having their act together as compared to others I have had to communicate with.

When nobody else was doing them they were unique and stood out.
