If you do the glossy finish on top, use a product like "shark bite" to add some texture so it's not slippery when wet. 

I currently work for a company that manufacturers, sells and services private business jets.

Nail holes in the trim were filled with caulking, maybe, the drywall texture was as consistent as the weather, apparently there was no more paint on earth, a nice sharp cut tile nosing at a bath tub.

It almost always peels back off and must be glued to the wall, so when tearing it back off later it will take your texture and drywall finish with it, and just isn't worth it in my opinion.  

We went with a system with 6 jets, rain and deluge shower head and hand wand.  

Depending on the home and the area you may need to have a jet tub in the master along with a separate shower.Further, research that I have done shows zero difference in price and zero difference in desirability.

Plus, the lines in the paneling add some texture to the wall which can be really nice with a light color.

Think about mixing contrasting colors and textures with leaves and flowers.
