We emphasize education in our company and we live that belief with this contest and by all the free events we do locally to educate.

Love him or hate him, the book only discusses his views and beliefs and really is nothing more than a way to lure people into his programs, but still is a good place for basic information.

I strongly recommend that you start attending local REI events religiously. 

However, if you enjoy sales, love working with people, and have a passion for analyzing deals religiously, then maybe it's appropriate to leap into wholesaling.

We don't allow religious thread or discussion of religious topics.

In relation to real estate investing I believe it not only gives a false belief that no work is involved but also degraded the efforts of those who do put in that had work to make the investing profitable.

It's my strong belief that you will succeed in any endeavor to the degree in which you are willing to go outside your comfort zone.

The promoters sell the belief and play on these peoples hopes and dreams.Just meet someone local. 

I used to work for an investment management firm that lent money to private developers in NYC, and that was the central belief of the developers at the time.  

The belief was that a few small increases would not have as large of a psychological or bank roll effect on them.
