Magistrate and State Courts have no jurisdiction to hear a dispute over equity in Georgia, and the suit would have to be done as a suit in partition/ejectment in Superior Court, and you're looking at 12 months of litigation, rather than a couple of weeks.

You are able to dispute the amount if you believe it to be too high but I'd check the millage rate before doing that as more often than not, you won't get a reduction.
