I just moved to Western NY, Rochester, to buy some investment property and everything is going like hot cakes.

Does anyone in Western Wayne County (Detroit, MI) have recommendations for general contractors or project managers.

@Robert Taylor If it gives you any solace, our property tax rate is comparable to what you endure in Milwaukee, and our property prices are 2-3 times what you find on the western shore of Lake Michigan {@Dawn Anastasi has been subjected to my grousing about this before}... yet your rents are 75% of what we can expect for a similar offering.

Norfolk if you know it.As the title suggests I am returning back to Chicagoland in the spring, my wife is from there and we spent a number of years there together in Oak Park ,one of the Western Suburbs.Anyway we are looking to invest in some real property to provide for us in our dotage.Off to hunt round the site now.

The entire city is usually the beginning point, not the Western Hills subdivision or the southeastern part of town.
