Because our efficiency unit was a good fit for a disabled person, we notified the local social services agency and a couple of churches.  

Church/ house of worship financing has become extremely challenging for many organizations.

With uber insurers have been updating that exclusion and even charity drivers are being caught in the exclusion (driving a church member regularly to the doctor for no charge was deemed to be excluded in a GA court; State Farm litigated that one).

I have contact info for 3 different people around my California property, and I'm building that relationship with a few people here, we have a nice church leader that is a neighbor who is very happy I've been keeping up the house because she grew up in it 30 years ago.

When I was 17 what really helped me is I started going to church as well as made a whole bunch of other life changes that included an entirely different crowd.

I have a platform for getting this info myself, but a member of my church was asking who they could look up the mailing address of abandon houses they drive by.
