If you're open to expanding your search some time in the future, I would recommend checking the Columbus OH market.

I would recommend that you get out to local meetup events, as that is where you will make the really deep connections to help you get rolling. 

I would recommend instead, looking into house hacking if you want to get your feet wet in real estate.
