After today’s experience with the extra “PM” fee tacked onto the already extremely high placement fee, I felt I had to say something.

EDUCATE YOURSELF - yes, it will take time, but will lead to a selection that better meets your expectations & avoids potentially costly surprises!

I'm really sick today with a nasty cold, etc. 

However, I find I usually have to do a little more education or hand-holding up-front with them (because there can be a lot of things they don't know- whether it's about how Airbnb / VRBO work or what the rental process is like). 

After catching the investing bug, I flipped my first property and turned it into a rental—which I am still renting today!
