Hey All, I'm trying to get a google voice number setup and I can't get rid of the "please state your name and we will try to connect you" standard message before it rings to my number then plays my custom voice message.I've called from 4 different numbers, half the time it goes directly to my custom message and half the time it plays the automated message then goes to my custom message.  

A friend of mine once said "When you are an Energy Analyst / Building Automation Programmer, all of your problems look like a nail." 

At the risk of not looking like a professional seller, you could explain the situation to the buyer and get a payoff statement from the senior mortgage with updated payment info from the automated line. 

I'm REALLY open to suggestions on how to follow-up with hangups in an automated way.

Also beware that some realtors are in the habit of just looking at an automated CMA (comparative market analysis) that spits out a number - these too can be way off, especially now that the market is heating up in many areas.

This can usually be solved by google searching, since the flag system for CL is automated, tricking the system is easy.

I recently got my google voice number, but still working on putting other systems in place to help automate my business.
