I still have family and friends there, but I moved to northern California for grad school 15 years ago and currently work and live (rent) near San Jose with my wife and 2 young daughters.

As of now, I'm qualifying through naca.com (neighborhood assistance corporation of America) and looking for a four unit to live/rent.

I believe I have found an opportunity working on a ranch that will allow me to live rent free, and save me a good deal of money throughout the summer, I am contemplating getting a mortgage or loan as I do not want to jump into debt quite yet, I guess my next question would be what type of Investment opportunities will I have once I have some cash built up.
