Doing a single journal entry will likely expense everything to P&L, but if you may have stuff that needs to be moved to your balance sheet instead.What about entries that might generate a 1098 or 1099 at the end of the year? 

I'm also open to helping someone  do some work on a house you're flipping so l can learn more about real estate and come along for deals we can also discuss business over a drink.
