This number carries over into the two replacement properties.You don't mention capitalized improvements so I have to assume that your adjusted cost basis in the relinquished property is $230k. 

However, they provide a time period to fix this - ie usually 30 days.

My coach suggested (and I implemented) a "must do tracker"....it's a color coded spreadsheet (I like to print multiple copies and keep them on a clipboard to stay in my sight/top of mind). 

Software will do the rest and help you keep it straight.
