I also wanted privacy, something with at least 2 or 3 acres, this place has 5.5 and offers great privacy.

Hi @Zac Boelkow,(all prudent CYA statements go here, ha) It really seems to come down to what you are wanting to accomplish with the structuring.In states that allow series LLC treatment it is a very favorable effective risk-reduction move, so if that's your primary goal then it may be the right move.Otherwise states with stringent business privacy laws (Wyoming, among others) a well-structured holding co. can give the owner BOTH legal protection AND privacy, which tickles the fancy of many a wealth-builder.A brief consultation with a savvy Asset Protection attorney would do you well here. 

I understand Nevada LLC can be beneficial for other reasons but the privacy argument doesn't seem to hold to me.Thanks 

Call me a privacy freak, but I prefer to have only guests have access during their stay under a unique code.

Now if you have neighbors with unsightly back patios/pets/etc, then I would spend some money on a privacy fence if its chainlink/short atm. 

You can buy a townhome or SFR with a private entrance, or not, depending on how much privacy you want.

@Jennifer Donley I was recently inquiring about a condo that houses a section 8 tenant, when my agent asked for the current lease we were told they couldn’t provide it as it was a violation of the tenant’s privacy.
