I agree with other responses here, and to piggyback on them it seems everyone plans to 'own forever' when they sign a 30 year lease or finance term, and then things change (job, relationship, life events, etc) and folks try to sell the property with 25-28 years left.Banks do not look at power bills when determining DTI, but they will look at a solar loan/lease. 

Husband agreed to sign off the deed for $5,000.Now she is having second thoughts. 

I realize now that I should have 1) signed a contract with the company with expected dates and payments as things got done and 2) figured out beforehand if this company is even competent.

Need to get it through to him and get him to sign.

His class and group is life altering (says the person who signed up 24 hours ago and has never done a real estate deal). 

So I go by and sign papers. with a 48hr funding period. but mostly up to the seller's discretion. 

That basket has produced huge bounties over the last dozen years, but there are signs that the golden goose may be taking a siesta.
