The very nature of basements - even the best of them - have them more humidity than the rest of the home and more prone to condensation and flooding. 

Recently i replaced a crappy small low CFM with a Delta 80 CFM with humidity sensor.

Verify vent duct is unobstructed and sealed (and venting to the outdoors).Take humidity (and odor) control out of the hands of the tenant by installing a humidity and motion sensing switch (retrofit) or a humidity and motion sensing vent fan when time for replacement.

Never in the bathroom(humidity) or kitchen(grease).

I bet it was kinda dry in the desert too.....blast those darn humidity killing Republicans.....

A couple negatives are the inflexibility of size and the incredible heat/humidity inside the container where you live.

@Jeremiah Hilliard  Florida (humidity) and the Gulf have HURRICANES, meaning higher insurance rates, fewer rentable days, etc.

Texas joins Florida as some of our biggest threats even if I can’t tolerate Florida’s humidity. 

The hot, humid air in the house caused it to freeze.

This is a fairly common problem in high humidity areas - often it is caused by a hole in the ducting somewhere.
