Learning about what others need really gets me curious...When I was about 8 years old, my dad, sister, and I found a baby bird that had fallen out of its nest. 

This is my retirement nest.

House was fumigated and upon gutting the kitchen, we found mice nests.

To echo other comments I would recommend buckling down and saving up a bit of a nest egg.

Also, you have a pretty significant nest egg.

What I might say is to take on a light remodel with your first nest egg you're using.

@Jeremy BelandIf there is Wi-Fi, you can get a Nest thermostat to monitor it and change temperatures remotely.

Even if neighbors are allergic to bees, there's nothing that would stop bees from making their own nest on something on your property; all that's happening here is the tenants are encouraging and controlling it.

But that 401k that you started at VERY early age is likely going to be a very secure nest egg to fall back on way down the road in case something happens to you.

We have saved a nice nest for safety & capital.
