I was recently bought out of my last startup (an email technology company), and I've been trying to interview residential rental property owners (single family and small multi-family properties) who use / have used property managers, to learn more about what they like and dislike about their current and past managers.If anyone has a spare 15 minutes, I'd really love to chat!

There most definitely is discrimination, (not always racial or socioeconomic) just as simple personal dislikes at times, or yes an anterior motive like this one.  

Early on in landlording, I rather disliked the fear and uncertainty around a vacancy, the work involved in a turnaround (cleaning, painting, minor repairs), showings and screening.. 

I also subscribed VRBO (which I dislike and wouldn't do again).

Hi, good inspection except for the "viewed roof from ground" I really dislike that, get up there and walk around, tell me if feels spongy, eyeball it up close!

And though you may dislike debt, you should spend some time getting your mind around the idea of good debt vs bad debt.  

I've always disliked the area, so I want to stick to bradenton/sarasota. 

Have the meetings, carryout follow-ups as appropriate, and document what you saw, met, like, disliked, etc.

I dislike the look and feel of vinyl but this may be a winner and for tenant proofing, carpet is out!
