One of my New Year's resolutions was to start a blog on my website and BP geared towards multi-family investors. 

I realize BP is more geared to residential but appreciate any strategies for the "smaller" commercial strategies. 

I currently am a business owner and have had an accountant for years but with the introduction of real estate investing to my income, I am thinking it is time to start looking for an accountant that is geared in that direction. 

What this is telling many people is that there is a supply being created at the lower end of the real estate market specifically geared towards smaller homes usually under $300,000, these are exactly the houses that young adults can afford today and what I personally believe many realtors need to be pushing now towards clients.

Remember realestate although a powerful wealth builder is much like a truck in low gear.  

The entire brokerage is specifically geared towards investors.  

After college I began working in property management and eventually became leasing manager for a 780 bed apartment complex geared toward student housing. 

I started off slow and kicked it into gear after about two years, now it’s all I think about.

@Ryan Taylor , @Isaac Hobbs- I think I am gearing towards a duplex with my VA option (cosmetic fixes only!).
