It's just a fact, we are a PM business, in operation for many years managing more properties over more years than 99% of investors will ever have, how anyone can say they have 10 or 20 units and they can do just as good or better just blows my mind, it's common sense, just because I use a PC no I can not do it better than Microsoft.

I prefer the old way too, but I'm sure they will look at server logs and decide which format is better.It would be nice if there was a detection script for phones that would default to this one for phones or else be the old one for everyone else.I have used this one one a tablet, and on the PC, and simply like the layout of the old one better.

Personally, I believe that it is wise to that a separate account for every rental so that it is easy to see and account for all of the debits and credits for that property.Simplii Financial and PC have good FREE accounts for this type of thing.It is also a very good idea to keep ~$5,000-10,000 in additional cash in those accounts "in case" something happens.It is a horrible feeling when you have late rent, with ZERO $$ in that property's account when the mortgage payment is due.It is only a matter of time until we as landlords run into issues and need cash to solve those issues.Its a great feeling to be able to sleep at night knowing that you are covered for a few months (6 months) if needed if/ when someone decides to not pay etc.
