I tried to leave, lived in every time zone in the USA, Hawaii sucked me back in, and it's not such a terrible place to get stuck. 

I would suggest making sure you are in the same time zone and that you are trying to get in at the right time.

You are most likely working with multiple time zones here, so you may find the need to hire a VA to handle messaging.  

I get extremely frustrated with HUBZU because most of their staff seems to be located in India, leading to language and time zone issues.  

Make sure the PM inspects the property twice a year.Don't choose an area that is 3 timezones away!

I figure this way that I can get the highest market rents and eliminate vacancies which I have been successful over the past +7 years self-managing long distance from +3 time zones away!

With time zone differences, different phone numbers and an unknown schedule it might just be to much.I guess I'll feel it out for a bit before making a decision.To answer your question.

For my Indiana properties its an endless barrage of texts (and since I live in a different time zone they come at all hours of the night) and I have to silence my phone at night to avoid this nonsense.
