So much sensationalism in the news and on here and social media about it, but from reading the actual settlement, it doesn’t do much to lower transaction costs and definitely does not lower property prices (supply and demand controls pricing, interest rates/available credit, inventory, the broader economy, jobs etc. not real estate agents). 

This just smacks of sensationalism.

There was a Univision special some months ago about the AA clinics taking in puerto ricans, but that was their own families sending them here and nothing new, mostly sensational newscasting.

This is the second story in the WSJ about this operator: the first being the 3,200 unit foreclosure.I really like the WSJ and am a frequent reader, but in this case, this article feels a bit sensational overall.

But that doesn't mean the demand has dipped drastically - it's lagely a sensational story line that is getting a lot of attention and I think it's also being repeated by people who maybe paid too much and were operating on such thin margins that any drop forces them into the red and/or poor operators who have a property that just cannot compete.

Not a YouTube sensation but if you bring in more money than you spend eventually you will have down payment money.
